Ideal for micropop deployments

The Ubiquiti UISP-R is a Gigabit PoE router built for micropop applications. It provides eight GbE RJ45 ports with 27V passive PoE supporting 2-pair and 4-pair modes plus one 1G SFP port. A 110W PoE supply is available when using the included AC/DC adapter.

Simple wall mounting and silent running

The wall-mount kit is included so installation only needs a suitable surface and the supplied power adapter. No fans are fitted; the unit relies on passive thermal cooling for silent operation. Ensure the mounting location allows adequate airflow for the fanless design.

Suits WISPs needing dense PoE distribution

This router suits wireless ISPs deploying compact micropop sites that require multiple powered ports and an SFP uplink in a silent box. It is not for buyers who need active cooling, higher PoE voltage standards, or routing features beyond the stated port configuration.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the UISP-R router is operating correctly after installation?

Check that all eight GbE RJ45 ports show active link LEDs and verify the SFP port establishes a 1 Gbps connection; the fanless chassis should remain silent while the 110 W PoE budget powers connected devices.

What ships with the router and what must I purchase separately?

The box includes the UISP-R unit, an AC/DC adapter for the 110 W PoE supply, and a wall-mount kit; SFP transceivers and Ethernet patch cables are not included.

Which port configuration suits a micropop deployment needing both 2-pair and 4-pair PoE?

All eight RJ45 ports deliver 27 V passive PoE in both 2-pair and 4-pair modes, so any port can serve either device type without selecting a specific version.
