Outdoor Weatherproof Enclosure for UniFi Switch Flex

The USW Flex Utility is an outdoor weatherproof enclosure designed for use with the UniFi Switch Flex. It includes an Ethernet patch cable and a 60W PoE adapter that provides a maximum PoE budget of 46W. The kit enables clean cable management and features a screw lock for security on pole installations. The UniFi Switch Flex is sold separately.

Installers Mounting Switches on Street Light Poles

This adapter kit suits installers who need to mount a UniFi Switch Flex on a street light pole with integrated power and cable protection. It is not for buyers who want a complete switching solution because the switch itself is not included. It also does not suit indoor-only deployments that do not require pole-mount weatherproofing.

Verify Switch Model and PoE Requirements Before

Confirm you have or plan to purchase the UniFi Switch Flex model compatible with this enclosure. Check that the 46W PoE budget meets the power needs of any devices you intend to connect through the switch. Ensure the mounting location suits a pole installation with the provided hardware.

Questions about this item

What UniFi switch model must I already own to use the USW-Flex-Utility enclosure?

The enclosure is built for the UniFi Switch Flex, model USW-Flex, which is sold separately and must be supplied by the buyer.

Can I keep my existing 60 W PoE injector and only buy the pole-mount housing?

The kit already includes a 60 W PoE adapter that delivers up to 46 W to the switch, so a separate injector is not required.

How do I confirm the adapter kit is powering the switch correctly after mounting it on the pole?

The switch will boot and show its status LEDs once the included 60 W PoE adapter supplies power through the provided Ethernet patch cable.
