Ugreen 55857 HDMI 3×1 Switch

The Ugreen 55857 connects three HDMI sources to a single display, letting you move between a console, a PC and a streaming box without swapping cables. It is built for home-theatre enthusiasts and multi-platform gamers who want one screen to serve several devices. The switch requires a constant 5 V USB power connection for reliable operation.

Sustained 18 Gbps bandwidth handling

The switch maintains an 18 Gbps data rate during extended sessions, so 4K@60 Hz, 2560×1440@120 Hz and 1920×1080@240 Hz signals stay stable without drop-outs. HDCP 2.2 and 1.4 compliance keeps protected content flowing, while HDR10, HDR10+ and 12-bit colour pass through unchanged. Manual or remote switching is instant, so the active port changes without a lengthy re-handshake.

Passive cooling, silent operation

With no fan and a compact 12.7×5.84×2.29 in black enclosure weighing 0.23 kg, the unit runs silently and adds negligible heat to an AV rack. Power draw is limited to the 5 V 1 A USB supply, so it does not burden a power strip. The infrared remote works up to 33 ft straight on or 20 ft at a 35° angle, letting you change sources from the sofa without line-of-sight hassle.

Questions about this item

Does the Ugreen 55857 generate noticeable heat or noise when left running all day?

The switch is a passive, USB-powered unit with no fan, so it runs silently and produces only minimal warmth during continuous use.

What power source must I already have to operate the Ugreen 55857?

A 5 V USB power adapter rated at 1 A or higher is required; the unit does not draw enough power from the HDMI ports alone.

Will my older 1080p monitor or 4K@30 Hz display work with this 4K@60 Hz switch?

Yes, the switch is backward compatible with 1080p up to 240 Hz, 1440p up to 120 Hz and 4K at 30 Hz, so legacy screens connect without issue.
