Flat black Ethernet extender cable with RJ45 male to female connectors, shielded S/FTP construction, six foot length

UGREEN

UGREEN Cat 8 Ethernet Extender Cable 40Gbps 2000MHz Male to Female 6FT

SKU CH-33EC-2B0Z4

Cat 8 extension cable delivers 40 Gbps at 2000 MHz with double shielding to extend an existing run without speed loss

  • Extends short cables without speed loss
  • 40 Gbps bandwidth at 2000 MHz frequency
  • Double S/FTP shielding cuts interference
  • Works with routers, consoles and PCs
  • Backward compatible with Cat 7 to Cat 5e

Extend Your Network Reach

The UGREEN Cat 8 Ethernet extender cable adds 6FT of length to an existing RJ45 connection. It supports bandwidth up to 40Gbps at 2000MHz for high-speed data transfer. The male-to-female design plugs directly into a short cable or wall jack without tools. S/FTP shielding with foiled twisted pairs and a metal mesh layer reduces interference and crosstalk.

Ideal for Fixed Device Connections

This extender suits gamers and streamers linking a PC, PS5, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, router, modem or switch to a nearby network point. It protects device ports from wear caused by frequent plugging. Buyers who need a longer single run or in-wall installation should look at a full-length patch cable instead. It does not add PoE capability or convert between connector types.

Handles 40Gbps Over Short Distance

The 2000MHz bandwidth comfortably handles 4K streaming, large file transfers and low-latency gaming across the 6FT span. Backward compatibility with Cat7, Cat6e, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 equipment ensures wide device support. Performance will drop if the total link length exceeds the Cat 8 channel limit or if connectors are damaged. Shielding maintains stability in electrically noisy environments.

Questions about this item

What RJ45 devices must I already have to use this Cat 8 extender?

You need any equipment with an RJ45 port — router, modem, PC, laptop, PS5, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, switch or network adapter — to plug the male end into and extend the existing cable.

Will this cable work with my older Cat 5e or Cat 6 patch cords?

Yes, it is fully backward compatible with Cat 7, Cat 6e, Cat 6, Cat 5e and Cat 5 cables, so your existing lower-category cords will connect without speed loss.

How can I verify the 2000 MHz bandwidth is active after I connect it?

Run a speed test or check the link speed in your OS network settings; a negotiated 40 Gbps connection confirms the 2000 MHz bandwidth is operating correctly.
