Indoor and Outdoor Network Runs

The CM-grade PVC jacket suits both indoor and outdoor installations, so home offices, gaming consoles, printers and routers all benefit. Buyers who need shielded cable for high-interference environments or longer single runs should look at other options.

500 MHz 10GBASE-T Rating

Each cable is rated to 500 MHz and supports 10GBASE-T up to the length provided, with full backward compatibility to slower Ethernet standards. ETL verification and RoHS compliance confirm the stated performance.

Questions about this item

What connector spacing does the 5.8 mm jacket and RJ45 plug require at the panel or keystone?

The 5.8 mm PVC jacket and standard RJ45 plugs fit any keystone or patch-panel port cut to the TIA/EIA 568-C.2 footprint, so no special spacing is needed.

Which wiring scheme — T568A or T568B — should I follow when punching down or crimping these 24 AWG solid copper conductors?

Both ends are pre-terminated with gold-plated RJ45 contacts wired to the T568B pinout; no punching down or re-crimping is required.

When should I expect to replace the CM-grade PVC jacket or the molded strain-relief boots on a 6 ft indoor run?

The CM-grade PVC jacket and molded boots are rated for permanent indoor installation; replace only if the jacket is cut, crushed or the boot tears from repeated pulling.
