Panel-Mount Audio Connector

This panel-mount socket provides four RCA female positions on a single plate for audio and video coaxial connections. It is suited for installers who need a tidy termination point on equipment enclosures, speaker cabinets or custom panels. Each piece accepts standard RCA plugs to join short cables into longer runs. The connector is rated for fifty volts and half an ampere.

Suits Permanent Installations

The design suits builders fitting AV gear into fixed panels such as TVs, DVD players, computers or speaker systems. It is not intended for frequent plugging and unplugging in portable setups. Users who need gender changers, inline couplers or adaptors for different connector types should look at other adapter styles. The five-piece pack supports multiple panel locations in one project.

Fifty-Volt Half-Amp Rating

The decisive specification is the fifty-volt and half-ampere rating that defines the safe signal level for this connector. Exceeding either value risks contact damage or signal degradation. Verify that your source equipment and cable runs stay within these limits before installation. The rating applies to each of the four RCA positions equally.

Questions about this item

What comes in the pack and do I need to buy cables separately?

The pack contains five panel-mount sockets, each with four RCA female positions. You will need to supply your own RCA cables to connect equipment to these jacks.

The listing mentions 50 V and 0.5 A ratings — which version should I choose for a standard home audio setup?

Only one version is offered: a 4-position RCA female outlet rated at 50 V and 0.5 A. This single specification covers typical line-level audio and video connections in consumer equipment.

What does the 50 V / 0.5 A rating mean when the socket is installed in a real device?

It indicates the maximum voltage and current the contacts are designed to carry safely. For line-level AV signals the actual voltage and current are far lower, so the rating provides ample headroom.
