Its infrared 930nm LED scans at 2.0 to 30 inches per second with a 6 mil minimum resolution and 0.6 print contrast. A wide slot accepts cards of many sizes and the sealed IP54 optical system resists dust, water spills and repeated 5-foot drops to concrete.
