Direct-Fit Rear Suspension Kit
This kit supplies two nitrogen gas-charged shock absorbers built as direct replacements for original equipment on listed full-size SUVs and trucks. It is intended for owners and technicians who need a complete rear-end refresh without mixing parts from different sources.
Twin-Tube Gas-Charged Design
The twin-tube construction uses pressurised nitrogen gas to reduce aeration and maintain consistent damping on heavy vehicles such as the Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban 1500, Tahoe, Avalanche 1500, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL from model years 2000 to 2013. It is not suited for applications requiring adjustable valving, remote reservoirs or coil-over conversion.
Bolt-In Installation
Each absorber matches OE mounting points so the kit installs with standard hand tools and no fabrication, freeing the builder from sourcing separate upper or lower hardware. Vehicles outside the 2000-2013 GM full-size SUV platform will require a different fitment.

Questions about this item
Will this rear shock absorber kit fit the 2002-2013 Cadillac Escalade I already own?
Yes, the kit is a direct replacement for 2002-2013 Cadillac Escalade models and also fits 2000-2013 Chevrolet Suburban 1500, Tahoe, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, plus 2007-2013 Chevrolet Avalanche and 2002-2006 Avalanche 1500.
How can I confirm the nitrogen gas charged shocks are working correctly after installation?
After fitting, the vehicle should sit level at the rear, show no fluid leaks on the shock bodies, and damping should feel controlled over bumps without excessive bounce or bottoming out.
Does the Unity 2-251400-001 kit include mounting hardware or only the two shock absorbers?
The kit contains two nitrogen gas charged shock absorbers; any required mounting bolts, bushings or brackets must be purchased separately if the originals are worn.
