Rear Shock Absorber Kit for VW and Audi
This Unity kit supplies two nitrogen gas-charged shock absorbers designed as direct replacements for original equipment on a range of Volkswagen and Audi models from 2005 to 2017. It covers the A3, CC, GTI, Golf, Jetta, Passat, Passat CC, R32 and Rabbit where standard suspension is fitted. The pair simplifies a full rear-axle refresh in a single purchase.
Twin-Tube Gas Design Limits
The twin-tube gas-charged construction restores factory ride control and damping performance for everyday driving on standard suspension systems. It does not fit vehicles equipped with Sport Suspension or Magnetic Ride Control, so owners of those configurations must seek alternative dampers. Installation follows OE mounting points without modification.
Replaces Worn OE Rear Shocks
The kit replaces a pair of tired or leaking original rear shock absorbers, restoring handling stability and braking confidence lost to age or mileage. The upgrade is worthwhile when the original units show fluid loss, excessive bounce or uneven tyre wear. It is not intended for lowered springs, heavy-duty loads or performance suspension upgrades.
