Rear Air Strut Assembly Kit
This kit provides two electronic air suspension strut assemblies designed to restore ride comfort and structural support. It fits 2007-2010 Audi Q7, 2003-2010 Porsche Cayenne, and 2004-2010 Volkswagen Touareg models.
Thermals noise and power
The assemblies operate using the vehicle's existing air suspension system and electronic controls. No separate thermal management, noise profile or power draw specifications are provided by the manufacturer.
Replaces faulty OE air struts
The kit serves as a direct replacement for failed original equipment air strut assemblies on the listed vehicles. The upgrade is worthwhile when the original units leak, sag or trigger suspension fault codes. It does not address unrelated suspension components such as control arms or compressors.

Questions about this item
How do I install the two electronic air strut assemblies and what step do people usually get wrong?
Bolt each strut to the original mounting points on the 2007-2010 Audi Q7, 2003-2010 Porsche Cayenne or 2004-2010 Volkswagen Touareg, then reconnect the electronic connectors before pressurising the system; the step most often missed is cycling the suspension through its full height range to purge air from the new units.
What maintenance or replacement will the kit need later?
The rubber air springs and electronic dampers inside each assembly wear with age; plan to inspect them at every major service and replace the complete strut if the spring develops a leak or the damper loses control.
What limit appears first under sustained use?
Continuous heavy loads or frequent height changes heat the electronic damper fluid, so thermal fade in the damping control is the first performance limit you will notice.
