The UOTEK UT-209 is a new industrial-grade repeater that extends RS-485 and RS-422 bus networks up to 5,000 metres at 9,600 bps. It supports baud rates from 300 bps to 115.2 kbps and allows up to 128 devices on a single segment. Automatic traffic direction control removes the need for external RTS flow control signals.

DB9 Connectors With Optical Isolation

A DB9 female to DB9 male interface connects via twisted-pair or shielded cable without jumpers. Enhanced optical isolation provides 2.5 KV rms and 500 VDC insulation plus 600 W lightning, surge and ±15 KV ESD protection per line. Power and data flow indicators give instant status visibility across the -40 to 85 °C operating range.
