45W USB-C AC adapter for Acer Chromebooks

This new 45W USB-C AC adapter supplies 20V-2.25A, 15V-3A, 9V-3A and 5V-3A outputs from a 100-240V input. It includes a 3-prong power cord and a USB Type-C tip. The unit targets owners of compatible Acer Chromebook models needing a replacement charger.

Suits owners of listed Acer Spin, CB, CP.

Buyers whose laptops require a barrel connector or a higher wattage supply should look elsewhere. The adapter matches part numbers PA-1450-78 and A16-045N1A. It does not fit devices that charge via proprietary non-USB-C ports.

Plug the cord into the brick.

The 3-prong mains plug fits standard UK sockets. No drivers or configuration are required. The most common issue is selecting a charger with the wrong voltage profile for a specific Chromebook SKU.
