Amplified horn speaker with built-in volume

The Valcom V-1036C is a 15 W amplified horn speaker designed for indoor and outdoor paging. Its weather-resistant ABS housing and stainless steel hardware suit industrial environments such as warehouses and manufacturing areas. A built-in amplifier and volume control simplify installation by removing the need for a separate power amplifier. The unit operates from a 24 V DC supply and includes an I-Beam clamp for mounting.

Suited for voice paging; not for music playback

This speaker addresses the need for clear voice announcements in noisy or exposed locations. Its frequency response of 225 Hz to 14 kHz is tailored for speech intelligibility rather than full-range music reproduction. Buyers who want high-fidelity audio or deep bass should look at a different product. The one-way design also means it cannot support two-way talkback systems.

15 W RMS output power decides coverage

The single specification that determines whether this horn meets a project's needs is its 15 W RMS output power. This figure sets the maximum loudness and coverage area for paging zones. If the installation requires higher sound pressure levels or larger area coverage, a higher-powered horn will be necessary.
