Valcom V-1038 30-Watt Amplified Horn

The Valcom V-1038 is a 30-watt amplified horn speaker rated at 125 dB sound emission for paging and alerting. It operates on 48 V DC power and includes a weather-resistant reentrant horn with a high-frequency diffuser. A detachable base supports wall or electrical-box mounting, while an omni-directional ball joint and I-beam clamp allow precise positioning. The beige enclosure is built for indoor and outdoor installation.

Installers needing a self-powered horn for 48 V DC

This horn suits facilities that distribute -48 V DC and require a single, high-output speaker with external volume control and flexible mounting options. It is not for installers who need a speaker powered from AC mains or low-voltage AC circuits. Buyers who require a different sound-pressure level or a driver without a built-in amplifier should look at other models.

48 V DC input voltage

The defining specification is the -48 V DC input requirement; the horn will only operate on a 48 V DC supply. Confirm that your paging infrastructure provides this voltage before purchasing.
