The Valcom VIP-422A is a 2' x 2' lay-in ceiling speaker that connects through a single 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port. It supports concurrent SIP and multicast paging, emergency alerts and two-way talkback intercom. Power over Ethernet 802.3af supplies the unit, so no local mains connection is required. The 8-inch driver delivers a frequency response of 80 Hz to 15 kHz at 103 dB SPL at one metre.

Network and Ceiling Checks Before Ordering

Your infrastructure must provide IEEE 802.3af PoE on the switch port that will feed the speaker. The ceiling grid needs a 23.75-inch square opening and enough plenum depth for the 3.75-inch housing.
