Quick Connect Coupler 1/4 in F NPT

This quick-connect coupler is a plumbing fitting designed for indoor maintenance tasks. It features a 1/4 inch female NPT inlet and a 1/4 inch female quick-connect outlet. The body is constructed from brass and stainless steel. It is supplied new for facility upkeep.

Suits high-pressure fluid lines up to 4000 psi

This coupler suits maintenance crews connecting hoses or tools in high-pressure washdown or fluid transfer applications. It handles fluid temperatures up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. It is not for buyers who need a different thread size or a lower pressure rating. The Proposition 65 warning also makes it unsuitable for anyone avoiding listed chemicals.

Maximum working pressure 4000 psi

The single specification that decides fit is the 4000 psi maximum pressure rating. This limit determines whether the coupler can safely handle the system pressure in your specific application. Verify your system pressure against this rating before purchase. The 300 degree Fahrenheit temperature limit is the other critical boundary.

Questions about this item

Does the brass and stainless steel body stay cool when the fluid reaches 300 degrees F?

The coupler is rated for a maximum fluid temperature of 300 degrees F, and the brass/stainless steel construction is designed to handle that heat without degrading.

What thread size must my existing hose or tool have to connect to the 1/4 in female NPT inlet?

You need a matching 1/4 inch male NPT thread on the hose or tool so it screws directly into the female NPT inlet of this coupler.

Will the 4,000 psi rating work safely with my older pressure washer that runs at lower pressure?

Yes, the 4,000 psi maximum rating means the coupler can handle pressures up to that level, so it will operate safely with any washer producing equal or lower pressure.
