Velztorm Erebix Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Erebix is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by a 3.60 GHz AMD Ryzen 3 3100 quad-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card with 8 GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 16 GB DDR4 RAM, a 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD and a 2 TB 3.5-inch HDD. A 750 W power supply and air CPU cooling complete the black chassis running Windows 10 Home.

Suits 1080p entry builds; not for heavier workloads

This system suits buyers targeting 1080p gaming at medium settings and general multitasking with dual-drive storage. The four-core CPU and RTX 3050 limit frame rates in modern titles and throughput in content-creation tasks. Builders who need more cores, higher GPU memory or faster Wi-Fi than 802.11n should look at other configurations.

Deciding spec: RTX 3050 8 GB GDDR6

The GeForce RTX 3050 with 8 GB GDDR6 on a PCIe 4.0 interface is the component that defines whether this PC meets your performance target. It sets the ceiling for resolution, texture quality and feature support in current games. If your workload demands more video memory or a higher GPU tier, this specification makes the Erebix the wrong choice.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD plus 2TB HDD configuration for this Velztorm Erebix?

The Erebix ships with a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD for the operating system and active games plus a 2TB 3.5-inch HDD for bulk storage, giving you fast boot and load times alongside high capacity in one box.

What does the Ryzen 3 3100 3.60 GHz base clock mean once the PC is assembled?

The four-core, eight-thread processor runs at 3.60 GHz and can boost to 3.9 GHz, so everyday tasks and 1080p gaming stay responsive while the 16 MB L3 cache keeps latency low.

How does the USB 3.2 Gen1 and Type-C Gen1 interface cap transfer speed in practice?

Both the two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports and the single USB 3.2 Type-C Gen1 port top out at 5 Gbps, so external SSDs or drives will hit that ceiling rather than the 10 Gbps of Gen2.
