System Identity

The Velztorm Orix is a pre-built gaming desktop built around a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. It pairs that CPU with a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card, 32GB of DDR5 memory, and a 1TB SATA SSD running Windows 10 Pro.

Buyer Fit

This system suits users who want a high core-count processor for multitasking and streaming alongside competent 1080p gaming. Buyers who need more video memory for higher resolutions or heavier creative workloads should look at configurations with a larger GPU frame buffer.

Deciding Spec

The graphics card provides 8GB of GDDR6 memory on a PCIe 4.0 interface, which sets the practical ceiling for texture-heavy games and GPU-accelerated applications at 1080p settings.

Questions about this item

How long can the i9-12900K hold 5.2 GHz under full load before the 360 mm AIO liquid cooler hits its thermal limit?

The 360 mm AIO liquid CPU cooler is designed to dissipate heat from the 16-core, 24-thread processor during sustained workloads, keeping temperatures within the chip's specified operating range.

What noise level and power draw should I expect from the 850 W supply and WINDFORCE 3X GPU cooler when the system runs all day?

The 850 W power supply and WINDFORCE 3X cooling on the RTX 3050 8 GB GDDR6 card operate quietly at typical gaming loads, with fan curves that ramp only under heavy 3D demand.

Which display cable and monitor input do I need ready to use the HDMI and Display Port outputs on the RTX 3050?

The graphics card provides one HDMI and one Display Port connector, so have a compatible cable and a monitor with a matching input before first boot.
