Velztorm Orix i9-12900K RTX 3050 desktop

This Velztorm Orix desktop integrates a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K processor with 16 cores and 24 threads alongside a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. It ships with 32GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB SATA SSD, running Windows 10 Pro. An 850W power supply supports the components.

Buyers needing 32GB DDR5 and 2TB SATA storage

The system suits users who want a high core-count CPU paired with 32GB DDR5 and a 2TB SATA SSD for gaming and multitasking. It is not for buyers who need more than 32GB RAM, additional drive bays, or a higher-tier graphics card.

12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K with 30MB cache

The deciding specification is the Intel Core i9-12900K reaching up to 5.2 GHz with 30MB L3 cache and 24 threads. This CPU defines the platform's compute ceiling for the build.

Questions about this item

Will the i9-12900K and RTX 3050 bottleneck a 2.5Gbps Ethernet link or 802.11ax Wi-Fi when I stream from an older NAS?

The 16-core 24-thread CPU and PCIe 4.0 GPU have far more throughput than a 2.5Gbps RJ-45 or 802.11ax connection, so the network remains the limiting factor, not the PC.

How can I verify the 32GB DDR5 4800MHz RAM and 2TB SATA SSD are recognised at full speed after first boot?

Open Task Manager Performance tab: memory should show 32GB DDR5 at 4800MHz and the SSD should appear as a 2TB SATA device with read speeds near the SATA ceiling.

Does the box include a monitor, keyboard, mouse or extra SATA cables for another drive?

The system ships with the desktop only — 850W PSU, 360mm AIO cooler, Wi-Fi antennas and power cord. No display, input devices or additional cables are supplied.
