What this system delivers

The Velztorm Pilum is a pre-built gaming desktop built around an eight-core Ryzen 7 3700X processor and a Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with 16GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 system memory, a 1TB SATA SSD for the operating system and a 1TB 3.5-inch hard drive for bulk storage. Windows 10 Pro is installed and the chassis includes RGB lighting and a 120mm AIO liquid cooler for the CPU.

Thermals and everyday power

The 120mm AIO cooler handles the 3.6GHz base clock and 4.4GHz boost of the Ryzen 7 3700X during typical gaming sessions while the 750W power supply feeds the graphics card and remaining components. Wireless connectivity is provided by 802.11n Wi-Fi and a wired RJ-45 Ethernet port. Front and rear I/O include USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C, five USB 3.0 Type-A ports, four USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, DisplayPort and separate headphone and microphone jacks.

Behaviour under sustained load

Under extended workloads the liquid cooler keeps the processor near its rated boost frequencies without the thermal throttling seen on smaller air coolers. The Radeon RX 6900 XT maintains DirectX 12 Ultimate feature support and AMD FreeSync compatibility for long play sessions. Builders who need more than 32GB of RAM or a second graphics card should look at a different platform.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler and what step is often missed?

Mount the radiator to the case with fans pulling air through it, then attach the pump block to the Ryzen 7 3700X using the AM4 bracket — the step most people miss is removing the protective film from the cold-plate before applying thermal paste.

What maintenance or replacement will the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need later?

The sealed loop requires no coolant top-ups; plan to clean dust from the radiator fins and fans every 6–12 months and expect a full unit replacement after roughly 5 years when pump performance drops.

What limit appears first on the Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB GDDR6 during sustained heavy loads?

The 16 GB GDDR6 frame buffer fills before the GPU core hits its ceiling, so texture-heavy 4K workloads will throttle once VRAM is exhausted.
