Velztorm Pilum Ryzen 7 3700X Gaming Desktop

This Velztorm Pilum desktop pairs an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card. It ships with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout of 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD plus 6TB HDD. The system targets gamers and content creators who want strong 1440p performance in a ready-to-use Windows 10 Pro machine.

Check PSU headroom and CPU cooler clearance

The unit includes a 750W power supply and a 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler with RGB lighting. Verify that the 750W rating covers any future GPU upgrade you may plan. Confirm the 120mm radiator fits your intended case if you move components later. The motherboard uses DDR4 slots only, so any memory addition must match that generation.

Windows 10 Pro and connectivity bundle

Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed, providing BitLocker encryption, Remote Desktop and domain join features for professional use. Connectivity includes 802.11n Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C, five USB 3.0 Type-A ports, four USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, plus microphone and headphone jacks. No optical drive is included.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and what must I add myself?

The system ships fully assembled with the Ryzen 7 3700X, 16 GB DDR4, 1 TB NVMe SSD, 6 TB HDD, RTX 3070, 750 W supply, Windows 10 Pro, Wi-Fi, USB 3.1, USB 3.0, HDMI, DisplayPort and a 120 mm liquid CPU cooler. You only need a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

Should I choose the 1 TB SSD plus 6 TB HDD or a larger SSD option?

The 1 TB NVMe drive holds the OS and active games for fast loading, while the 6 TB mechanical drive stores large media libraries and backups. Select a bigger SSD only if you want more titles on solid-state storage.

What does the RTX 3070 8 GB GDDR6 mean for actual gaming?

The card supports DirectX 12, G-SYNC and VR, so modern titles run at high settings on a 1440p display with smooth frame pacing and variable refresh support.
