Built for high-refresh gaming

This Velztorm Pilum desktop pairs an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 3700X with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a hybrid 1TB NVMe SSD plus 3TB hard drive handle modern titles and multitasking. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed.

GPU decides 1440p readiness

The RTX 3070 ships with 8GB of GDDR6 memory on a PCIe 4.0 interface and supports DirectX 12, G-SYNC and VR workloads. That specification determines whether the system meets a buyer's target resolution and refresh rate.

Suits single-PC streamers.

Builders who want strong CPU encode performance and fast NVMe boot storage will benefit. Users who rely on Bluetooth headsets, mice or keyboards should look elsewhere because the motherboard lacks Bluetooth support.

Questions about this item

How does the Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz base clock behave under load?

The 8-core processor can boost up to 4.4 GHz when thermal headroom allows, giving higher single-thread speed for games and burst workloads.

What does the RTX 3070 PCIe 4.0 interface mean for bandwidth?

The card runs on a PCIe 4.0 x16 link, doubling the theoretical throughput of PCIe 3.0 and removing a bottleneck for the 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer.

Will the 120 mm AIO liquid cooler fit a standard mid-tower case?

The 120 mm radiator is designed for a single 120 mm fan mount, which is present on most mid-tower and larger chassis.
