Velztorm Pilum Gaming Desktop

The Velztorm Pilum is a pre-built gaming desktop aimed at players who want a ready-to-use Windows 10 Pro system with a high core-count processor and large memory capacity. It combines an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 3700X running at 3.6 GHz with a boost up to 4.4 GHz and 128 GB of DDR4 RAM for multitasking headroom.

Thermals noise and power draw

A 750 W power supply feeds the components while a 120 mm AIO liquid cooler with RGB lighting handles CPU heat. The GTX 1660 Super graphics card draws modest power for its performance class, keeping overall system noise lower than many high-wattage builds under typical gaming loads.

4 TB NVMe SSD plus 6 TB HDD

Storage centres on a 4 TB PCIe NVMe SSD for fast boot and game loads paired with a 6 TB 3.5-inch hard drive for bulk files. Buyers who want more storage than ten terabytes or who need a newer GPU architecture should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler on the Ryzen 7 3700X?

Mount the radiator to the case, attach the pump block to the processor using the supplied hardware, connect the pump to the CPU fan header and the fans to the motherboard or fan controller, then route the tubing without sharp bends.

What maintenance or replacement will the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need later?

The sealed loop requires no refilling; clean dust from the radiator fins and fans periodically, and replace the unit if pump noise appears or coolant temperatures rise under sustained load.

What limit shows up first on the GTX 1660 Super during sustained gaming?

The 6GB GDDR6 frame buffer and the GPU's thermal ceiling will cap performance before the 750W power supply or the Ryzen 7 3700X become bottlenecks.
