Pilum Desktop Core

The Velztorm Pilum is a gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 16GB DDR4 RAM, a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD and a 6TB 3.5-inch HDD, all powered by a 750W supply. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed and the chassis includes a 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler with RGB lighting.

Who This Suits

This system suits players who want 8-core CPU performance and RTX 3070-class graphics in a ready-to-use tower with both fast NVMe storage and high-capacity mechanical storage. Buyers who need more than 16GB of memory, a newer Wi-Fi standard than 802.11n, Bluetooth connectivity, or an operating system newer than Windows 10 Pro should look at other configurations.

Deciding Specification

The single specification that decides fit is the RTX 3070 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory; it determines which titles run at high settings and whether the system meets the GPU requirement for a given game or VR application.
