Built for 1440p gaming

The Velztorm Pilum pairs an 8-core Ryzen 7 3700X with a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD plus 2TB HDD give fast load times and plenty of space for a large library. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed.

Connectivity and cooling

A 750W power supply feeds the CPU and GPU while a 120mm AIO liquid cooler keeps the processor at stable temperatures. Rear I/O includes HDMI, DisplayPort, five USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB 3.1 Gen1 port, four USB 2.0 ports and wired Ethernet. No wireless or optical drive is fitted.

Suits solo gamers needing capacity

This system targets players who want high-refresh 1440p performance and dual-drive storage without adding parts. Buyers who need built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a second graphics card or a newer CPU platform should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What limits the Ryzen 7 3700X under sustained load?

The 8-core processor runs at 3.60 GHz base and can boost to 4.4 GHz, but the 750W supply and 120 mm AIO cooler set the practical ceiling during long sessions.

How loud and hot does the system get when running all day?

The 120 mm AIO liquid CPU cooler handles the 8-core chip while the 750W unit powers the RTX 3060 Ti, keeping thermals and fan noise in check for extended use.

What must I already own for this desktop to work out of the box?

You need a monitor with HDMI or DisplayPort input, plus a keyboard and mouse; the PC ships with Windows 10 Home and wired Ethernet but no Wi-Fi, webcam or display.
