C13 to NEMA 5-15P Power Cord

This 1.8 metre computer power cord carries a C13 female connector to a standard three-prong NEMA 5-15P plug. It is rated for 125 V and 10 A with 18 AWG conductors. The cable suits most desktop PCs, monitors, printers and similar office equipment that use a C13 inlet.

Suits standard office gear.

It fits devices that accept a non-locking C13 connection and draw within the 10 A limit. Buyers whose equipment needs a locking C13 inlet or a higher amperage rating should look at a different cord. The six-foot length works well for typical desk or rack placements.

18 AWG conductor gauge

The 18 AWG wiring sets the safe current capacity at 10 A for 125 V operation. Verify that the connected device does not exceed this rating before use. The cord is UL listed and RoHS compliant for regulated environments.

Questions about this item

Which devices can I plug this C13 cord into using its NEMA 5-15P male plug?

The NEMA 5-15P male plug fits standard North American 125 V wall outlets and most UPS units, so any device with a C13 inlet — desktop PC, monitor, printer — can be powered from those sources.

Will the 18 AWG conductors safely run a legacy monitor that draws close to the 10 A rating?

At 18 AWG the cord is rated for 10 A at 125 V, matching the 1250 W limit, so a legacy monitor drawing up to 10 A is within specification.

How can I confirm the cord is delivering power correctly after I connect it?

The attached equipment powers on normally and the cord remains cool to the touch during operation, indicating the 18 AWG wiring and C13 connection are functioning as intended.
