Lithium-ion line-interactive UPS delivers 500VA/450W with four NEMA 5-15R outlets, USB management, and 1U rack/tower form factor
Model PSI5-500SRT1ULIN
The Vertiv PSI5-500SRT1ULIN is a 500VA line-interactive UPS with lithium-ion batteries that delivers 450W of backup power to IT equipment, servers or network devices in a 1U rack or tower form factor. It suits small infrastructure deployments that need short runtime and remote management capability.
The unit mounts in a standard 1U rack space or sits as a tower and connects via a NEMA 5-15P plug with an eight-foot cord, so no special wiring is required. Hot-swappable batteries allow replacement without powering down the load, while a USB port and optional network card enable monitoring. The main limitation is the brief runtime of three-point-four minutes at full load, which only covers orderly shutdown rather than extended operation.
Verify that your equipment draws no more than 450W total and uses NEMA 5-15R plugs, as the UPS provides four such outlets. Confirm the installation site stays within the 32° to 104°F operating range and 20% to 90% non-condensing humidity. Ensure a 120V nominal supply is available, because the input range is 75 to 150VAC.

Other versions of this model
Connect the USB interface to a server or management console and confirm the monitoring software reports line-interactive topology, input voltage within the 75-150VAC range, and battery status showing 100% charge after the 2-hour recharge period.
The package includes the 1U UPS with internal lithium-ion batteries, an 8 ft NEMA 5-15P input cord, four NEMA 5-15R outlets, USB cable, and the RDU120 network card for remote management; no additional accessories are required for basic operation.
Leave the unit at its factory default of 120VAC; the international version also supports 100, 110, 115, and 125VAC if your facility uses a different nominal voltage.
