Vertiv SRT-12 surveillance accessory

Purpose and fit

The Vertiv Geist SRT-12 is a remote temperature sensor designed for surveillance and environmental monitoring installations. It suits integrators and facility managers who need discrete thermal data from equipment racks or secure rooms. Buyers who require humidity sensing or multi-point monitoring from a single device should look elsewhere.

Decisive specification

The unit functions solely as a temperature sensor under the Geist product line. This single measurement type determines whether the accessory matches the monitoring scope of the deployment. No additional sensing modalities are included in this model.

Sustained operation

The sensor is built for continuous ambient tracking rather than brief spot checks. Its construction supports long-term deployment in controlled environments where steady, reliable readings are essential. Performance remains consistent over extended periods without drift concerns.
