15FT 50A Generator Extension Cord

This 15-foot power extension cord carries 50 amps at 125/250 volts for a maximum of 12500 watts. It uses STW-rated 6/3+8/1 AWG pure copper cable built for indoor and outdoor use. The cord connects a 14-50P plug to a CS6364 locking connector. A storage strap is included for neat coiling.

Suits Generator Backup, Not Light-Duty Use

The twist-locking ring seals out dust and rain to IP44 and prevents the plug from pulling loose in wind or heavy weather. The operating range spans -104°F to 221°F for year-round reliability. Buyers who need a cord for standard household appliances or lower-amperage tools should look at lighter-gauge options.

14-50P to CS6364 Locking Connector

The cord terminates in a 14-50P plug on one end and a CS6364 locking connector on the other. This specific pairing determines whether the cord fits your generator inlet and transfer switch. Verify both connector types on your equipment before purchase.

Questions about this item

What plug and receptacle does the 15FT 50A cord use?

It has a 14-50P plug on one end and a CS6364 locking connector on the other.

How do I engage the twist-lock so it stays seated in wind or rain?

Insert the CS6364 connector fully, then rotate the locking ring clockwise until it clicks; the IP44 seal keeps moisture out.

When should I replace the cord or strap?

Replace if the jacket shows cuts, the copper conductors are exposed, the locking ring no longer clicks, or the storage strap frays.
