3U Wide Rack Cabinet for Secure Equipment Housing

The VMP DVR-LB3 is a 3U rack cabinet designed to house servers or network gear in a compact footprint. Its powder-coated black finish and HAWA construction provide a professional appearance suited to data closets or office environments. The unit mounts on two or four posts, giving flexibility for different rack configurations.

Simple Two-or-Four-Post Mounting

Installation uses standard rack rails so the cabinet secures to either a two-post or four-post frame without special tools. Multiple built-in vents include blockers that let you choose active or passive airflow, and a second fan location is provided if additional cooling is required later. The interlocking lift-off lid and key-locked hinged front door add physical security but may need careful alignment during first fit.

17.2-Inch Wide Interior Determines Equipment

The interior width of 17.2 inches is the critical dimension that decides which devices will fit inside the cabinet. Measure your hardware against this figure before purchase, as wider chassis or deep power supplies may not clear the sidewalls. Depth and height allowances follow the same 21-inch depth and 5-inch height interior limits.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the DVR-LB3 is cooling properly after installation?

Verify that the included fan is spinning and that air moves through the multiple vents; use the vent blockers to switch between active and passive thermal management as needed.

What ships with the DVR-LB3 and what must I supply separately?

The cabinet arrives with a powder-coated chassis, interlocking lift-off lid, key-locked hinged front door, one fan, and vent blockers; rails, shelves, cable-management accessories and any additional fans are not included.

Which DVR-LB3 variant should I choose for equipment up to 17.2 wide and 21 deep?

The single model listed provides a 3U interior of 17.2 W x 21 D x 5 H, so it fits gear within those dimensions; no other width or depth versions are offered.
