RG6 Twist-On BNC Male Connectors

These connectors terminate RG6 coaxial cable with a simple twist-on action, removing the need for a crimping tool. The pack contains ten nickel-plated male plugs built with lead-free construction for reliable video contact. They suit installers and DIY users wiring CCTV or surveillance runs quickly.

Replaces Crimp-Style BNC Plugs

The twist-on design replaces traditional crimp connectors when a crimp tool is unavailable or speed matters most. The jump is worth it for temporary installs, repair jobs or low-volume projects where buying a tool adds cost. It is not for permanent high-vibration runs where a crimped ferrule is specified.

Fits RG6 Cable in Surveillance Builds

Each plug fits standard RG6 cable, including 18/2 Siamese types used for combined video and power. The nickel plating resists corrosion on long cable pulls. The pack frees up budget otherwise spent on a crimper, but installers needing weatherproof or plenum-rated terminations must source those separately.

Questions about this item

What cable diameter does the BNC16M connector accept?

The connector is designed for RG6 coaxial cable, which matches the 18 AWG centre conductor found in standard RG6 18/2 Siamese CCTV cable.

How do I attach the twist-on connector without a crimp tool?

Strip the RG6 jacket and dielectric to expose the centre conductor, fold the braid back over the jacket, then screw the connector body onto the cable until the centre pin seats firmly.

Will the nickel plating wear off if I disconnect the cameras often?

Nickel-plated brass resists corrosion and maintains low contact resistance through repeated mating cycles typical in surveillance installations.
