20-Pack BNC Twist-On Connectors

This pack contains twenty nickel-plated phosphor bronze BNC male connectors designed for CCTV cabling. They accept RG59 coaxial cable or RG59 18/2 Siamese cable and install with a simple twist after stripping the cable. No crimp tool is required, making field termination fast and straightforward.

Replaces Crimp-Style BNC Plugs

These twist-on connectors remove the need for a dedicated crimping tool and the associated die sets. The jump is worth it when installers want to reduce truck inventory, speed up on-site terminations or avoid the variability of hand-crimped joints in surveillance systems.

Fits Standard 75-Ohm Surveillance Runs

Each connector presents a 75-ohm nominal impedance and is rated for AC 500 V with a 1500 V RMS withstand voltage. Insulation resistance meets 5000 Mohms minimum across a 0-4 GHz frequency range. Brass contacts ensure reliable signal transfer in camera-to-DVR links.

Questions about this item

What cable diameters do these twist-on BNC plugs accept?

The connectors are designed for RG59 coaxial cable or RG59 18/2 Siamese cable, matching the standard dimensions used in CCTV installations.

How do I install a twist-on BNC connector without crimping tools?

Strip the cable to expose the centre conductor and braid, slide the connector over the prepared end, then twist the body clockwise until it locks onto the cable — no crimp tool is required.

Will the nickel-plated bodies and brass contacts resist corrosion in long-term CCTV runs?

Yes, the nickel-plated phosphor bronze housing and brass contacts provide durable corrosion resistance for permanent surveillance cabling.
