300 ft RG59 Siamese Cable

This 300 ft Siamese cable combines an RG59 coaxial video line with a paired 18 AWG power run in one white PVC jacket. It is built for installers wiring analog CCTV cameras where running separate cables would add labour and material cost. The single-jacket design keeps the video and power conductors organised from the reel to the camera mount.

20 AWG Solid Copper with 95 % Braid

The video conductor uses a 20 AWG solid bare copper core shielded by a 95 % braid, which resists signal degradation over the full 300 ft length. The 18 AWG stranded power pair delivers consistent voltage to cameras without the voltage drop seen in thinner gauge wire. Both conductors maintain their electrical characteristics when pulled through conduit or across ceiling spaces.

Check Connector Type and Run Length

Verify that your cameras and DVR accept twist-on BNC or other standard RG59 connectors before ordering. Confirm that a single 300 ft pull reaches every camera location without splices, which would degrade the shielding. Ensure the white PVC jacket meets any local fire-rating requirements for the planned installation path.

Questions about this item

Does the 20 AWG solid bare copper centre conductor and 95 % braid shield run warm when carrying video signals continuously?

The 20 AWG solid bare copper centre conductor with 95 % braid shield is a passive coaxial element; it generates no measurable heat during normal CCTV video transmission.

Which connectors and power pigtails must I already have to terminate the RG59 coaxial and 18 AWG stranded power pair?

You will need standard RG59 coaxial connectors such as twist-on BNC plugs for the video side and compatible power pigtails for the 2 × 18 AWG stranded copper conductors.

Can the white PVC jacket and separation web be pulled alongside older RG59 or RG6 coax already installed in the same conduit?

Yes, the white PVC jacket and internal separation web allow the siamese cable to share conduit with legacy RG59 or RG6 coax without signal interference.
