Two-camera dome kit

The VideoSecu DM10WK2 pack supplies two white dome cameras for indoor CCTV installations. Each unit uses a colour CCD sensor with a 3.6 mm wide-angle lens and delivers 420 TV lines of horizontal resolution. Cameras connect through wired BNC video and run on 12 V DC power adapters included in the box.

Installers needing basic analog coverage

The kit suits professional installers who want a low-cost, manually adjustable dome pair for standard-definition recording. Buyers who require high-definition video, network streaming or wireless deployment should look elsewhere because the cameras output analog NTSC only and lack IP connectivity.

420 TVL analog resolution

The maximum horizontal resolution is 420 TV lines, which defines the detail level available to the DVR. Effective pixels measure 510 by 492 with a 1.0 lux minimum illumination at F1.2. The signal system is NTSC and the cameras are not compatible with HD or IP recorder platforms.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the DM10WK2 dome camera produce when powered continuously?

The camera runs on a standard 12V DC supply and uses a low-power CCD sensor, so it generates minimal heat during continuous use.

Which recorder or monitor do I need to connect these BNC cameras?

You need a CCTV DVR with BNC video inputs; the cameras are analog NTSC and will not work with HD or IP recorders.

Will the 3.6mm wide-angle lens cover the same area as my existing 6mm cameras?

No, the 3.6mm lens gives a wider field of view than a 6mm lens, so each camera sees more area but with less magnification.
