VideoSecu DMV23PK CCTV Camera

The VideoSecu DMV23PK is a wired analog dome camera built for indoor or outdoor surveillance. It uses a 1/3" Sony Effio CCD sensor to deliver up to 700 TV lines of horizontal resolution. The package includes the camera, a 12 V DC power supply and a warning sticker. Weatherproof housing allows mounting in exposed locations.

Suits installers extending a BNC-based DVR system

This camera connects through a standard BNC video cable and requires a compatible analog DVR for recording. It is not a network camera and cannot be used with NVR or IP-based platforms. Buyers who need standalone Wi-Fi operation, PoE connectivity or direct cloud storage should look at IP camera ranges instead.

3.5–8 mm varifocal lens sets the field of view

The adjustable focal length lets installers zoom from a wide angle to a narrower perspective during setup. Seventeen infrared LEDs provide night illumination and the camera switches automatically between colour day video and monochrome night video. The lens choice is the main factor that decides whether the coverage matches the scene.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 700 TVL resolution is active after connecting the BNC video cable?

Check the DVR live view for a sharp 700 TVL picture; the camera outputs analog video only and requires a compatible DVR to display the image.

Which items are included and what must I buy separately to record footage?

The box contains the dome camera, a 12 V DC power supply and a warning sticker; a CCTV DVR and BNC coaxial cable are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the 3.5 mm or 8 mm end of the varifocal lens for a wider viewing angle?

Set the lens toward 3.5 mm for the widest field of view; adjust up to 8 mm when you need a narrower, more zoomed-in scene.
