This wired dome camera uses a 1/3" Sony Effio CCD sensor to deliver up to 700 TV lines of horizontal resolution. A 3.5~8 mm varifocal lens lets installers adjust the field of view between wide-angle and narrow coverage. Seventeen infrared illuminators provide black-and-white night vision when ambient light drops. The package includes a power supply and a combined video-power cable.

Suits Analog DVR Systems Only

The camera outputs a standard analog signal over a BNC connection, so it works with traditional CCTV DVRs that accept CVBS input. It requires a separate 12 V DC power source, which is supplied in the box. Buyers who need IP networking, PoE, or HD-SDI / HD-CVI / AHD formats should look at something else because this model does not support those interfaces. Wireless operation is also not available.

700 TVL Analog Resolution Decides Fit

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 700 TVL analog video output over BNC. A recorder must accept this exact signal type and resolution; otherwise the camera will not produce a usable picture.
