VideoSecu DMV3IREMKC analog dome camera

The VideoSecu DMV3IREMKC is a wired CCTV dome camera built around a 1/3" Sony Effio CCD sensor. It delivers up to 700 TV lines of horizontal resolution for standard analog surveillance systems. The package includes the camera, a 12 V DC power supply, a combined audio-video-power cable, a built-in microphone and a warning sticker. It is intended for installers or property owners expanding an existing analog DVR setup.

Analog BNC limits and 960H compatibility

The camera transmits composite video over a BNC connector and requires a compatible analog DVR for recording. It is not compatible with HD-over-coax formats such as AHD, TVI or CVI, nor with IP network video recorders. The 960H-capable Effio processor provides the full 700 TVL resolution only when paired with a 960H DVR; on legacy D1 recorders the effective resolution will be lower. Night vision relies on 17 infrared LEDs for monochrome footage in darkness.

Bracket-mounted install with varifocal focus

A heavy-duty mounting bracket conceals the wiring to deter tampering and simplify cable routing. The 3.5–8 mm varifocal lens must be adjusted by hand at the camera to set the desired field of view before final tightening. Common issues include forgetting to remove the lens protective film, misaligning the day/night sensor under bright lights, and loose BNC connections that cause rolling or lost video.
