Six-camera deterrent kit

This pack contains six dummy bullet cameras designed to mimic a working CCTV system. Each unit has a flashing LED and fake IR illuminators inside a realistic housing. A built-in light sensor activates the flash automatically at night, and a manual switch lets you disable it. Power comes from two 1.5 V AAA batteries per camera, which are not included. Mounting brackets and a warning sticker are supplied.

Suits visual deterrence only

Homeowners or small businesses wanting a low-cost way to create the appearance of surveillance will find this set useful. It provides no recording, no live view and no network connectivity, so anyone needing actual footage, motion alerts or remote access should look at a genuine camera system instead.

Check mounting surface and battery access

Verify that the chosen wall or ceiling can accept the supplied brackets and that you can reach each camera to change batteries when the LED dims. Confirm you have a supply of AAA cells ready, as none are provided in the box.

Questions about this item

What batteries must I supply to power the flashing LED on each dummy camera?

Each camera needs two 1.5V AAA batteries, which are not included in the pack.

Will the dummy cameras interfere with genuine analog CCTV cameras I already have installed?

No, these units contain no transmitter or network interface, so they operate independently alongside real analog cameras.

How can I verify the built-in light sensor is activating the flashing LED at night?

Cover the sensor or wait for darkness; the red LED should begin flashing automatically unless the power switch is set to off.
