Delivers regulated 12V DC at 500mA from 100-240V AC input with a long 2.1mm centre-positive cord, UL-approved and overload-protected for most 12V security cameras
The VideoSecu PW12500N is a regulated switching adapter that converts AC 100V-240V input to 12V DC at 500mA. It is intended for installers and DIY users who need a compact, UL-approved power source for a single 12V security camera or similar low-draw device.
The output is fixed at 12 volts and 500 milliamps delivered through a 2.1 mm centre-positive jack. Cameras or accessories that draw more current or require a different voltage or connector will not operate correctly with this unit.
Built-in overload and short-circuit protection shut the output down safely if the connected load exceeds the rated 500mA. The switch-mode design keeps power consumption low and the adapter cool during continuous 24/7 operation typical of surveillance installations.
