Compact Passive Balun Pair for UTP Video Runs

The VideoSecu VB202P is a two-piece passive video balun set that lets installers send analogue CCTV signals over ordinary Cat 5 or similar unshielded twisted-pair cable instead of coaxial runs. Each unit presents a BNC male connector on one side and a screw-terminal block on the other so connections can be made without crimping RJ-45 plugs. Because the devices are entirely passive they require no power supply at either end of the link.

Suited to Retrofit and Structured-Cabling Jobs

Installers working in buildings that already have UTP infrastructure can drop a balun at each end of an existing cable run and carry video immediately.
