Eight-camera analogue kit

This package supplies eight dome cameras designed for wired analogue CCTV systems. Each unit uses a 1/3 inch CCD sensor delivering 480 TV lines of horizontal resolution. The cameras connect via BNC cables to a compatible DVR and require a DC 12 V power source. The bundle includes eight matching power supplies and a warning sticker.

Wide-angle lens and IR array

A fixed 3.6 mm wide-angle lens gives a broad field of view for general coverage. Twenty infrared LEDs per camera activate automatically in darkness, providing 0.0 lux minimum illumination for monochrome night footage. The aluminium housing is rated weatherproof and vandal-resistant for indoor or outdoor mounting. Day/night switching changes from colour to black-and-white as light falls.

Suits legacy DVR upgrades

This kit fits owners of older analogue DVRs needing direct replacement cameras with matching BNC wiring. It will not work with modern HD, IP or wireless recorders and cannot operate as a standalone device. Buyers building a new system or requiring network connectivity should look at current digital or IP camera ranges instead.

Questions about this item

Will the 20 IR LEDs need replacement after extended night use?

The 20 infrared LEDs are built into the dome and not user-replaceable; if they degrade the camera module would need service.

What limits continuous recording on the 1/3 inch CCD sensor?

The analog 480 TVL output is constrained by the DVR's recording bitrate and storage capacity, not the sensor itself.

How much heat does the aluminium housing dissipate during all-day operation?

The vandal-proof aluminium housing passively dissipates heat from the 12 V DC supply and 20 IR LEDs without a fan.
