Wired analog dome camera with a 4-9 mm varifocal lens, 36 IR LEDs and 480 TVL resolution for day/night surveillance
The VideoSecu VD49HKC is a wired CCTV dome camera built around a 1/3 inch CCD sensor and Color DSP. It captures footage at 480 TV Lines and connects via a BNC video output. The package includes a power supply, a video power cable and a warning sticker. It requires a compatible DVR for recording, which is not included.
The manual 4-9mm varifocal lens lets you set the viewing angle and focus externally without opening the housing. Infrared illumination from 36 LEDs activates automatically at 0.0 Lux for night monitoring. Buyers who need IP networking, higher megapixel resolution or wireless connectivity should look at other product types.
The camera delivers an analog composite signal at 480 TV Lines through its BNC connector. Your DVR must accept this exact resolution and interface; digital recorders or IP-only systems cannot use the feed. Power is supplied at DC 12V from the included adapter.

It needs a DVR with a BNC video input because the camera outputs an analog signal over a wired BNC connection.
Yes, any analog camera that also uses a BNC video connection and runs on DC 12 V power can share the same DVR channels.
Watch the live feed: the image should switch from colour to black-and-white and the LEDs will glow faintly red when ambient light drops.
