Eight-camera analog kit

This eight-pack supplies eight dome cameras, each with a 3.6 mm wide-angle lens and a 1/3-inch Sony Effio CCD sensor delivering 600 TV lines of resolution. Twenty-eight infrared LEDs per camera enable automatic day and night operation with color images by day and black-and-white in low light. Eight individual 12 V DC power supplies are included in the box.

Wired BNC installation

Each camera connects through a wired BNC video output, so a coaxial cable run to a compatible digital video recorder is required for recording and monitoring. The cameras draw 12 V DC from the supplied adapters and contain an automatic CDS sensor that switches the IR array on and off as ambient light changes. No wireless or network connectivity is built in.

Analog-only system builders

Buyers assembling or expanding a traditional analog CCTV system with an existing DVR and coaxial infrastructure will find a complete, ready-to-mount set. Those who need IP networking, HD-over-coax formats, wireless deployment or standalone operation without a separate recorder should look at other product types.
