30 W Horn Speaker for Paging Systems

The Viking Electronics 300AE is a 30 watt horn speaker built for 25 V and 70 V commercial paging installations. It delivers clear voice announcements and background music in schools, warehouses, gas stations and outdoor recreation areas. The 10 inch horn provides wide dispersion for consistent coverage across large spaces.

107 dB Sensitivity and 30 W Headroom

At 107 dB measured at 1 W / 1 m, the driver produces strong output with minimal amplifier power. Full 30 W input raises output to 117 dB at 1 m, giving ample headroom for noisy environments such as distribution centres or transport hubs. The 8 ohm direct connection or transformer tap options let installers match the speaker to existing line-voltage systems without extra equipment.

Weather-Resistant Housing with Adjustable Mounting

A rugged grey plastic housing resists moisture and dust for reliable indoor or outdoor service. Fully adjustable mounting hardware is included for ceiling, wall or post installation, allowing precise aiming during setup. The compact 11.5 inch length and 10 inch diameter keep the profile unobtrusive while the durable construction withstands daily exposure in commercial settings.

Questions about this item

Will the 300AE horn speaker work with my existing 25 V paging amplifier?

Yes, the 300AE supports direct connection to 25 V paging systems using its step-down transformer tap, and also works with 70 V lines or an 8 ohm amplifier output.

How can I verify the 300AE is performing correctly after installation?

Measure output at one metre; you should hear clear voice pages at roughly 107 dB with one watt input and up to 117 dB at the full 30 watt rating.

Does the 300AE package include mounting brackets, or must I buy them separately?

Fully adjustable mounting hardware for ceiling, post or wall installation is included in the box; no separate bracket purchase is required.
