1-to-15 DVD/CD duplicator with 320GB drive

The VinPower SHARK-S15T-BK is a standalone tower duplicator that copies one master disc to up to 15 targets at once. It supports DVD and CD formats including dual-layer media and writes at speeds up to 24X for DVD-R and 40X for CD-R. A built-in 320GB hard drive stores images for repeated runs without the master disc present. The unit operates independently of a PC.

Check power space and media compatibility

Verify you have a standard mains outlet for the tower and enough bench space for a unit measuring 33.00" high, 7.50" wide and 21.00" deep. Confirm your source discs are among the supported types such as DVD-ROM, DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, CD-DA or mixed-mode CDs. The duplicator uses a SATA interface internally and offers auto conversion between DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW formats. Language options include English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Japanese.

Fits a standalone duplication workflow

Place the tower on a stable surface, connect power and load the master disc or select an image stored on the internal 320GB drive. The 256M buffer helps sustain high-speed writes across all 15 targets without a host computer. The 20 x 2 LCD panel shows progress and status for each drive. It frees up workstations for other tasks while batch duplication runs unattended.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the SHARK-S15T-BK and what must I buy separately?

The duplicator tower includes 15 target DVD/CD writers, a 320 GB internal hard drive and a 20 x 2 LCD panel. You must supply blank DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, CD-R or CD-RW media to make copies.

Which capacity or version of the SharkCopier should I choose?

This model is the 1-to-15 target version with a 320 GB hard drive and 256 MB buffer; VinPower offers other target counts and drive sizes, so select the 15-target unit only if you need to burn up to 15 discs simultaneously.

What does the 24X DVD-R speed mean when the tower is running a full 15-disc job?

Each of the 15 drives can write a single-layer DVD-R at up to 24X, so a full 15-disc batch finishes in roughly the same time as one drive writing one disc, limited only by the slowest disc in the set.
