Blue 500 ft Cat5e UTP CCA bulk cable on a pull box for indoor patch or crossover runs
This 500 ft Cat5e UTP cable uses 24 AWG copper-clad aluminium conductors in a blue jacket. It ships in a pull-box that keeps the wire tidy during indoor installation. The cable is unshielded and has four twisted pairs ready for field termination.
Because the conductors are copper-clad aluminium, the cable cannot carry Power over Ethernet and does not meet UL, NEC, ETL or TIA certification requirements. Buyers who need PoE support or code-compliant wiring should choose a solid copper alternative.
The single specification that determines fit is the CCA construction: it lowers cost for short indoor patch or crossover links but rules out PoE and any installation that demands certified copper cabling.
