Two-Pack Acoustic Ceiling Panels

The VIVO Black Acoustic Ceiling Waffle Panel arrives as a 2-pack of 45.7 x 45.7 x 5.1 inch units designed to reduce background noise in open, echo-prone spaces. Offices, studios, lounges and restaurants gain a quieter atmosphere that supports concentration. Each panel weighs 4.7 lbs and installs below the ceiling line.

Sound Absorption Capacity and Limits

Dense polyester fiberboard 0.4 inches thick absorbs mid-to-high frequencies where speech echo builds up. A 65 inch maximum wire length lets the panels hang lower for greater absorption in high-ceiling rooms. The waffle geometry increases surface area but cannot block low-frequency transmission or replace full ceiling treatment.

Build Quality and Daily Implications

Stainless steel hanging cables and included hardware support both wood joist and concrete/brick ceilings. Panels slot together without tools and mounting-hole spacing of 1.9 inches aligns with standard anchors. The black fiberboard resists visible dust and disperses ambient light, maintaining appearance with no fabric to vacuum.

Questions about this item

Will the 45.7 x 45.7 x 5.1 inch panels fit alongside my existing drop-ceiling grid without blocking the current tiles?

Each panel measures 45.7 x 45.7 x 5.1 inches and hangs on adjustable cables up to 65 inches long, so you can lower them below the grid while keeping the original tiles in place.

How can I confirm the panels are absorbing sound properly once they are hung?

A noticeable drop in echo and reverberation when speaking or clapping in the room indicates the dense polyester fiberboard is working as intended.

What hardware is included in the 2-pack box and what must I supply for a concrete ceiling?

The box contains two waffle panels, stainless-steel hanging cables, panel brackets, and wood-joist screws; for concrete or brick you will need to buy suitable anchors separately.
