Tall slender tower fan in dark finish with touch controls and remote

VORNADO

Vornado OZI42 42 inch Oscillating Tower Fan

SKU CH-QMQB-BMNEA

A 42 inch oscillating tower circulator moves air at 1164 FPM across a 70 degree sweep with five speed settings, auto-dimming touch controls, a remote.

  • Whole-room air movement delivered at 1164 FPM
  • 70-degree oscillation spreads airflow across the space
  • Five speed settings with auto-dimming touch controls
  • Remote control adjusts settings from a distance
  • Energy-saving timer reduces power use over time

Whole-room circulation for living spaces

The Vornado OZI42 tower circulator moves air at 1164 FPM to create whole-room airflow rather than a narrow stream. It suits buyers who want consistent air movement across a room instead of a personal desk fan. Those needing a compact clip-on or battery-operated unit will not find that form factor here. The 42 inch height fits standard floor placement without requiring wall mounting.

Sustained airflow with adjustable oscillation

Five speed settings and a 0-70 degree oscillation range let the unit run continuously at a chosen intensity. Auto-dimming touch controls and a remote allow changes without interrupting sleep or work. An energy-saving timer shuts the fan off after a set period, so the motor does not run unattended. The 61 W draw at 120 V 60 Hz remains steady during extended use.

1164 FPM airflow velocity decides fit

The 1164 FPM exit velocity is the single figure that determines whether this circulator can replace a traditional bladed fan for whole-room mixing. Buyers who need a specific decibel rating, a DC motor, or smart-home integration will not find those specifications in this model. The six-foot cord and two-prong plug require a nearby mains outlet.

Questions about this item

How loud is the OZI42 when it runs continuously on its highest speed?

The fan is described as offering quiet operation with 5-speed auto-dimming touch controls, letting you choose a lower speed for less noise during all-day use.

What power outlet does the OZI42 need to operate?

It requires a standard 120 V / 60 Hz outlet and draws 61 W through its 6 ft 2-prong cord.

Will the 70-degree oscillation of the OZI42 interfere with other appliances on the same circuit?

The unit draws only 61 W at 120 V, so it adds minimal load and should not affect other devices sharing the circuit.
