Converts four 8-pin PCIe connectors to a 12VHPWR 16-pin plug delivering 600W with a 180-degree angle for tidy routing
This 180-degree Type A adapter converts four 8-pin PCIe cables into a single 12VHPWR 16-pin connector. It is built for RTX 4090, 4080 and 4070 Ti graphics cards that place the socket on the backplate side. The right-angle shape keeps cables close to the card and eases routing in tight cases.
The connector is rated for 600 W through the 12VHPWR interface defined by PCIe 5.0 and ATX 3.0. Four separate 8-pin leads from the power supply are required to reach that ceiling. The 16-pin plug must be fully seated; partial insertion can cause overheating and damage.
Compatibility depends on how far the GPU backplate extends past the power socket. If the overhang exceeds 3 mm the Type A orientation will not seat correctly. Buyers whose cards have a larger backplate protrusion need a different adapter style.

This adapter is Type A, meaning the four sense pins face inwards. It fits MSI Gaming X Trio, NVIDIA Founders Edition and AORUS Master cards on the backplate side, provided the backplate does not extend more than 3 mm past the power socket.
The 600 W figure is the maximum power the 12VHPWR 16-pin connector can deliver when all four 8-pin PCIe plugs are fully seated and the 16-pin end is completely inserted into the GPU socket.
The adapter follows the PCIe 5.0 and ATX 3.0 specifications for the 12VHPWR 16-pin interface, so it supports the 600 W power limit defined by those standards when used with a compliant power supply and graphics card.
