Converts M.2 NGFF or mSATA SSDs to a SATA 3.0 interface for desktop or laptop use
This adapter converts M.2 NGFF and mSATA SSDs to a standard SATA 3.0 interface. It allows desktop and laptop users to install these drives into systems with SATA ports. The unit functions as both a converter card and an enclosure for the drive.
The passive design has no fan, so it operates silently. Power is supplied through the SATA connection from the host system. Heat dissipation relies on the metal enclosure acting as a heatsink during normal use.

Insert the SSD into the matching M.2 or mSATA slot on the board, secure it with the screw, then connect the adapter's SATA data and power cables to the motherboard and PSU.
The SATA 3.0 interface is a mature standard; the passive adapter board has no moving parts and typically lasts the life of the SSD unless physically damaged.
